Graduate employment, support while you study
USEP is a program that assists university students with disability to gain internships and graduate employment roles in their specific field of study. Below is a list of the partner universities where USEP consultants are located on campus. USEP is available to students with disability in their final year of study, or students who have graduated within the last calendar year. We encourage registration as early as possible to enable students to obtain the necessary/relevant experience, access opportunities and build a plan alongside the careers centre while complementing the offerings at your local university. For those who have graduated and haven’t succeeded in securing employment – let’s help you get started!
Note: Disability is defined by the Disability Discrimination Act (see DDA guide by Human Rights Commission) and the definition of disability” includes: Physical, Intellectual, Psychiatric, Sensory, Neurological and Learning disabilities as well as Physical disfigurement and the presence in the body of disease-causing organisms.
